About the class

Learn how to dance like a musician!

Musicality is not just about doing the cool thing when the cool music happens, it's about hearing the music the way the band does.

We will make music together, dance together, and even get a chance to conduct the band and tell them exactly what you want them to do. A good band is just like a good dance partner; you start to anticipate each others' moves and finish each other's sandwiches.

This class is fairly open-level, but will make a LOT more sense if you know some Swingouts, some Charleston, and some Solo Jazz steps (The Shim Sham would be a great start!)
