What: 4 week solo jazz series for students in Lindy 3 and 4

Format: solo movement
Pre-requisites/level: This class is open to students who are enrolled in/typically take Lindy 3 or Lindy 4 classes

Cost: Sliding Scale of $20 to $60 for the whole series(choose your price at registration)

About the class:
Been Lindy Hopping for while now, but still struggle to integrate solo jazz moves or alternate rhythms into your everyday partner dancing? Join Cate for a 4 week deep dive into solo movement: how moves work, how to do lots of cool variations, and how to do it all with ✨style✨
Each week has a different, self-contained theme, so Cate is allowing single-class drop-ins in this month's class for those who can't commit to a whole month. (Drop-ins must be prepaid using the form below: we don't do payments at the door for weeknight classes).
About your instructor:
She is passionate about the multi-directional aspect of communication in partner dancing-- the conversation between musicians and dancers through the music, between a couple and anyone observing them, and between the lead and follow themselves. She loves and strives for balanced connections, playful improvisation, and musically-inspired movement in her dancing.
As a teacher, she enjoys breaking things down, building them back up, and seeing those joyful, dance "aha!" moments.
