What: 4-week continuing-level series for dancers with some basic Lindy Hop experience

About the class:
Erica Vess & Ryan Lemar own & operate the RVA Swing studio. They have been teaching Lindy Hop, Balboa & Jazz in Richmond since 2012. Known for their patient, clear instruction and A+ joke skills, their primary goal is creating a safe, fun, & supportive learning environment for all students.

Format: Rotating Partner/ELEF (all students will learn both roles, no partner required)

Cost: Sliding Scale of $30 to $90 per person for the 4 week series

Are you ready to go down the rabbit hole? Take a deep dive into how partnerships work in Lindy Hop by learning both roles simultaneously!
This class will cover a lot of the same material as our Intro to Swing beginner classes, but since students will be switching back and forth from leading to following within the same class, it is not recommended for true beginners. Students taking this class should have a basic knowledge of Lindy Hop in at least one role: triple steps, 6 and 8 count rhythms, basic turns, and swingouts. (ie you should have completed one of our 6 week Intro to Swing units).
(Please note that this is a 4 week series, but the classes are 90 minutes long. This gives you the same classroom time as a 6 week series usually does, and has been priced the same as a 6 week series.)
