About the class:
For students who have already completed at least one of our Level 2 Lindy Hop units, this intermediate level topics class will present new material and/or a new theme each month to keep returning students engaged. This is a level designed to be taken each month, to keep you learning and growing!
This month, Ryan & Erica will take you for a trip in the way-back machine, to the dance that preceded Lindy Hop: 1920's Charleston! 1920's Charleston differs from the side-by-side Charleston you learn in your Level 2 class, and is an earlier dance with different posture and styling. This 4 week series will teach both solo and partnered 20's style Charleston, as well as how to easily transition into & out of Charleston from Lindy Hop moves you already know.
No partner required.
All students taking this class must be able to demonstrate all of the following material: correct 6 & 8-count footwork, triple steps, outside/inside turns, tuck turns, lindy circles and swing outs.
(Instructor permission is no longer needed for Level 3 classes, however, we do reserve the right to move students who don't meet the stated pre-requisites of the class.)
